Youth to March Against Tuition Hikes March 4th; National Day of Student Protest

On Thursday, March 4th, 4:30 PM, the Cleveland Chapter of Fight Imperialism, Stand Together will hold a demonstration as part of a National Day of Student Protest. The group will meet in front of Cleveland State University’s Main Classroom Building, 22nd and Euclid, and then march to Cuyahoga Community College. The Day of Protest was called by student activists in California to oppose tuition hikes and then gained support on campuses around the country.
"The people need to force the government to rearrange its priorities and put students, youth, workers, oppressed peoples and those who are really in need first, not corrupt bankers and the super-rich," stated FIST spokesperson Caleb Maupin.
